Melting Pots (a fiction based on facts)
Melting Pots is a project that examines the cycle of transformation that some of the metal debris of the World Trade Centre in New York was submitted to after the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, to produce pots, pans and serving trays, by crockery companies in India. This piece follows the transformation of this significant material through found images, posters, maps, memorabilia, a video and ends with food served in the kitchenware conceivably made from this debris.
